Festival Fleurs de vigne: a great opportunity to meet those who make wine and discover the richness of local products from Avignon and Burgundy.

Why "Vine Flowers"?

In late May/early June, the vineyards of Burgundy are tinged with a subtle white colour: that of vine flowers. The flowers open, then give way to the future grape grain. A discreet but important flower.  Flowering is indeed a key stage in the annual cycle of the vine and the best climatic conditions are expected at this time. Traditionally, it is said that the harvest will take place 100 days after this flowering. Fleurs de Vigne represents a key period for the vineyard, synonymous with blossoming and rebirth!
