FLEURS DE VIGNE FESTIVAL

Sunday 25 mai 2025

on the quays of the Yonne in Auxerre, from 11am to 6pm

On Sunday, May 25, Fleurs de Vigne takes over the banks of the Yonne in Auxerre for a day of discovery of the vineyards of Chablis and Grand Auxerrois, in a place steeped in history.

Winemakers and merchants will be present to taste their wines, from the different appellations available on the territory of Icaunais (Chablis, Burgundy Chitry, Burgundy Côtes d'Auxerre, Burgundy Coulanges-la-Vineuse, Burgundy Tonnerre & Burgundy Epineuil, Irancy, Saint-Bris, Vézelay, IGP Yonne, Vin de France). The unique opportunity to discover their produce, but also to share a profession, passion and know-how.

Numerous oenological and gastronomic activities will allow the public to spend a day 100% epicurean, in the colours of the local Icaunais: initiations to tasting, olfactive route, casino wines, cooking demonstrations, games of pairing dishes with wine...

True gourmet course, Fleurs de Vigne is the must-see for any epicurean

The public will have the opportunity to eat on site thanks to the presence of local producers - including the network «Bienvenue à la ferme» and caterers who will offer a menu of the terroir. A space will be dedicated to gastronomy and food/wine pairings of products from the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region.

At 11am, the local wine guilds will come to launch this beautiful day: they will parade from the Abbaye Saint-Germain, then descend on the quays passing through the old wine district of the city, before the traditional induction ceremonies.

GOUGERE COMPETITION, with the Guild des Goûteurs de Gougères. Whether you are an amateur or professional cook, take part in the gougère competition Fleurs de Vigne on Sunday 25 May in Auxerre. The jury of the Gougère Tasting Guild will decide on the creations in 2 categories. More information
